Rosalia
Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is an Spanish flamenco and pop vocalist. As a teenager she was involved both in traditional and popular music. But, her musical interests have expanded to include hip-hop and soul. Pepe Habichuela has described her vocals as sweet, sharp but also possessing a bit of bite. El Mal Querer, her follow-up album to Los Angeles in 2017, was both a critical as well as a commercial success. It was a top hit on the Billboard Latin Pop Albums Chart and received a Grammy. The track La Fama with The Weeknd was released. Motomami came out as her third album that was full-length. It featured collaborations with fellow musicians and producers, such as Cory Henry. The album came out in 2022, as a result of the Saturday Night Live appearance by the singer Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia has become the only Spanish artist to have performed in a solo performance on the show. Motomami Rosala was also the recipient of three Latin Grammy Awards and the Latin Album of the Year award twice, was the first woman ever to receive both awards.
